Welcome our New Conductor

Please help us welcome our new conductor, Zachary “Zach” Singer, by attending our 7th annual Halloween concert!

Zach has selected 45 minutes of music fitting for Halloween, including feet stomping, finger snapping, moans and groans, and other interesting sounds. Have you ever heard of a water gong?

Zachary “Zach” Singer

This is Zach’s 3rd concert as our leader since he assumed the role of conductor in late August.  He earned his Bachelor of Music Degree from San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2012 and Master of Music Degree from The University of Texas-Austin in 2014. His passion for playing percussion has led to performing in some of the greatest concert halls in the world including The Berliner Philharmonie, The National Concert Hall in Taipei and The Kennedy Center. Zachary joined the Jackson Hole Community Band in May 2015 as a percussionist. Since then, he has taken on more music projects in Jackson. When announced In March 2016, Zachary jumped at the opportunity to lead the JHCB as the new director. He is very excited to work with a group of well rounded musicians and expand his musical prowess.

Costumes Galore

Doc and Marty

It is an exciting moment for audience and band members alike to witness the band dressed up in costume. In Halloween Concerts past we have witnessed Valkyries, pirates, witches, and other engaging costumes. You may remember our Zach and Jason (our president) as Doc and Marty at last year’s concert.

Kids and kids at heart should show off their creative talents and come in costume as well. And be prepared, all goblins and ghouls will be welcomed on stage for the annual costume parade. Get those cameras ready! Be sure to tag your photos #JHCBand.

Trick or Treat

After our traditional Adams Family sing along, the little ghosts and goblins can retrieve candy from generous local businesses. Trick-or-Treat maps will be available at the concert, or return to this page for a list of participating businesses.

In partnership with the Grand Teton Music Festival, the concert will be on Saturday, October 29th at 3:00PM at Walk Festival Hall. The concert is FREE and open to the public. Please join us for this fun Halloween event!
