— Your Old Bills donation helps pay for operation expenses such as insurance, instrument maintenance, and new instrument purchases.
Most of our musicians have their own instrument but we encourage people who used to play to return to playing and have several instruments available for this. Also no percussionist has timpani, bass drums, cymbals, xylophone, marimba etc. so we have a closet full of percussion instruments to maintain.
You listen to the classical station and can name the pieces that you remember playing in the Jackson Hole Community Band.
— Your Old Bills donation helps pay for new music. We have an extensive library but like to add one to three new pieces a concert. This keeps our regular concert attendees hearing new pieces as well as old favorites and allows us to attract new listeners with arrangements of contemporary music as well.
— Your Old Bills donation helps pay for rehearsal space. Not only does the band rehearse from the end of August through the end of June but we also rent space to store our instruments and music library.
