Team members can create their own free CinchShare accounts to access unlimited shared folders and collaborate on content. This makes it easy for multiple people to review, organize, and work on social media material without everyone needing a paid account.

A free account can be especially handy for proofreading and content review. A team member can access the shared content, check wording, dates, names, and other details, and help get posts ready for publishing—all without needing access to the band’s paid scheduling account.

Free accounts also include the CinchShare keyboard for iOS and Android and access to CinchShare’s content library with more than 30,000 ready-to-use posts.

The important distinction: a free account can help create, review, and organize content, but it does not provide the paid scheduling and publishing features.

The band currently uses CinchShare through Julie’s paid personal account. CinchShare is a significant time-saver for scheduling and managing social media, so the cost is worthwhile when compared with the time required to manually publish and manage posts across multiple platforms.

A separate band account could be established using a shared organizational login. The current cost is approximately $100 per year. CinchShare offers a 14-day free trial, but continued access to the full scheduling platform requires a paid account.

For now, there is no reason for the band to pay for a separate account because Julie already maintains a paid subscription. If that changes, a band account could be established with a shared login, and Julie could share the saved content and other resources after the new account is set up.

If Julie is suddenly unavailable — including the possibility that she has been abducted by aliens 👽 — this would be relatively easy to resolve. A family member could help transfer or share the saved content with a new band account. It would be an inconvenience, but it would not be detrimental to the band’s social media operation or its accumulated content.
