Bio Jennifer Levanduski earned her Bachelor of Music from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas in 1994. She studied clarinet with Dr. Michael Cavin and conducting with Dr. Gary Sousa. Jennifer has been teaching almost 20 years with 15 years spent teaching junior high and high school bands in the Houston and Dallas areas and the other as a Woodwind Specialist with the Grand Teton Music Festival “Tune Up!” program at Jackson Hole Middle and High schools. Jennifer and her family first lived in Jackson from 2005-2008 when she quickly joined the clarinet section in the band. From there, she was asked to conduct as well. Professional opportunities took her family out of Jackson for a few years, but she and her husband Roger always knew they wanted to come back. That opportunity came in June of 2012. Timing was perfect as the Jackson Hole Community Band was looking for a new music director.
