A dress rehearsal is the final full practice before a performance, where the ensemble runs through the entire program as if it were the concert. While no formal concert attire is worn, the goal is to rehearse everything with performance-level focus—transitions, pacing, musical interpretation, and ensemble coordination. It’s often the first time the music is played in order without stopping.
Our trumpet section takes “dress rehearsal” to a new level—tuxedo t-shirts, crisp rhythms, and a whole lot of flair. It’s their way of keeping things light while getting everything just right before showtime.
