2023 July 4 - Instrument Petting Zoo
2023 July 4 — Exploring music hands-on! A young guest tries out the trombone at our Instrument Petting Zoo, with band members ready to help.

The Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) is a premier annual summer festival in Jackson Hole that showcases world-class classical musicians and ensembles. Based at Walk Festival Hall, their historic home venue, GTMF offers a rich variety of concerts, educational programs, and community events, attracting audiences from across the region. GTMF plays a vital role in the cultural life of Jackson Hole, fostering appreciation for classical music and providing opportunities for local collaboration, including partnerships like the Community Band’s Instrument Petting Zoo at the Center for the Arts.

Each year, we partner with the Grand Teton Music Festival to host our popular Instrument Petting Zoo on the lawn of the Center for the Arts — a joyful, hands-on introduction to music for families and kids of all ages. Our annual Halloween concert at Walk Festival Hall brings festive tunes and community fun to the iconic venue, rounding out a year full of memorable musical moments.
