2018 - petting zoo GTMF
2018 — Caitlyn shows a young musician how to blow into a flute at the Grand Teton Music Festival Instrument Petting Zoo, sparking a love for music one note at a time.

The Instrument Petting Zoo is a family-friendly event that offers children and adults a unique opportunity to explore and try playing a variety of musical instruments under the guidance of experienced musicians. This interactive experience encourages musical curiosity and helps foster a lifelong appreciation for music by making it accessible and fun for all ages.

Hosted by the Community Band, the Instrument Petting Zoo brings music to life at events like the Center for the Arts lawn, local farmers markets, and beyond. Band members guide visitors through hands-on instrument exploration, inspiring community connection and the next generation of musicians wherever the music takes us.
