2015 Lighting of the Town Square

The Jackson Hole Chorale was formed in 1982 with a mission to provide local singers the opportunity to perform and grow their choral skills. With 40 to 60 members, including some founding singers, the Chorale educates the community through a wide range of music from all periods, introducing audiences to composers they might not otherwise encounter. The group performs three major concerts annually—including a Christmas and a spring concert—and features a smaller ensemble called the Jackson Hole Chorale “Singers” for community outreach performances at venues like the National Museum of Wildlife Art, Senior Center, and Rotary Club. Everyone is welcome to join and share in their love of music.  jacksonholechorale.org

The Jackson Hole Chorale and Community Band join every year at the Lighting of the Town Square, filling the air with festive music that kickstarts the holiday season and brings the whole community together in song and celebration.

The Jackson Hole Community Band is a volunteer wind ensemble founded in 1989, performing throughout the year at concerts, parades, and community events. Our ranks include musicians of all ages and backgrounds, many of whom returned to their instruments after long breaks. This post is a collaboration among band members who bring their unique voices, stories, and perspectives to celebrate our shared love of music and community.
