After more than 25 years of Spring, Old West Days, July 4th, Old Bills, Halloween and Christmas and other concerts and activities, the JHCB is getting stronger than ever, with plans for a fantastic 2016-2017 season. Comprised of musicians of all ages and backgrounds from right here in the Jackson area, drawn together by a love of music and a commitment to enhancing Jackson Hole’s artistic and cultural environment, we hope you’ll consider enhancing the financial health of the Band through Old Bills Fun Run. For example, your contributions last year allowed us to add a vibraphone and new music to our Repertoire, adding to the excitement of our “Night at the Movies” concert last season. We promise to continue practicing hard and pushing our limits to sustain our tradition of contributing fun and entertainment to Jackson Hole events throughout the year.

The Jackson Hole Community Band is a volunteer wind ensemble founded in 1989, performing throughout the year at concerts, parades, and community events. Our ranks include musicians of all ages and backgrounds, many of whom returned to their instruments after long breaks. This post is a collaboration among band members who bring their unique voices, stories, and perspectives to celebrate our shared love of music and community.
